Thank you all

I wanted to take some time to let everyone know that I did have a second stroke last week but the results were far better than my first in ’09. The tests show that the damaged or dead brain is about the size if a pencil eraser.  For reference the last stroke caused a location about the size of a roll of quarters.

It is not easy nor do I think it is supposed to be but facing these things is easier knowing that people in my life have been at my side in one way or another. The prayers, thoughts, calls and visits from friends have been a welcome hand during this time.

You are my friends and I would never wish this on anyone but the facts are that you or someone you love could face this at some point in you’re lives.  Please take some time to know and understand the signs of stroke. In most cases there are things that can be done to minimize the effects.

I was setting at home watching tv and when it happened I can remember seeing my daughter Caitlynn’s face. Believe me you don’t want to see what I saw but at the same time you do want your family to know they did their best if you don’t get a chance to tell them.

I have some very good friends and I am grateful to know you all.
